It's about that time for our FACE meeting to begin in the community room at 4pm. We want to do it big this year when we celebrate our mothers. Dads we love you and you are truly important. We also need your help with the School Compact and lastly it is K- Night for time for all the students who will be five on or before September 1, 2026. This event will be in the library tonight at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you soon.

This upcoming Tuesday April 28, we have two big events at Matheny. FACE meeting 4pm - 5:30pm and K Night for the incoming kindergartners starting at 6:00 pm. This FACE meeting we will go over the school compact and finish planning for the Mother's Day Celebration. Do you have a photo that we could showcase on our board for Mother's Day? Your Voice Matters!!!!! I invite you to join our Family and Community Engagement team at Matheny-Withrow. We will meet this upcoming Tuesday March 31 at 4pm in our Community Room. I need your help and voice in planning and preparing for two upcoming events.
On April 17, we will be celebrating our volunteers and community members who have shared their time, and kindness with our Matheny students.
On May 8, we will celebrate our mothers or guardians who are the moms of the household.s. Please let me know if you will be attending Tuesday at 4pm .

This is the last day to complete the 5 Essentials Survey. Scan the code and email the thank you screen with your students name to mmorris@sps186.org. The first day we return from spring break these students will get a t-shirt and a treat.
